This can be a difficult question to answer because there are honestly too many things about the 2025 Chevy Equinox EV that are amazing. Whether you’re already interested in a Chevy Equinox EV for sale or just curious about what one has to offer, we’re always happy to talk about this remarkable new all-electric vehicle. To fully appreciate everything this electrified compact SUV has to offer, you have to take some time to check out what it brings to the road and how it can enhance your time with it each day. Fortunately, that’s something we’re more than happy to do, and we enjoy going over the details of the Equinox EV with our customers to see if it’s right for them. Let’s take a look at what the 2025 model has to offer, and you’ll quickly discover why so many people are excited about this SUV.

Remarkable All-Electric Performance

It’s easy to think that performance isn’t that important when you’re looking at a compact SUV, but that’s not the case with electric vehicles (EVs). The 2025 Chevy Equinox EV is the perfect example of this because it offers impressive power and performance that ensures you have a great time on the road each day. The standard setup for this SUV features an 85 kWh battery with a single motor that delivers 220 hp and 243 lb-ft of torque, which is already plenty of power for a small SUV like this. When you compare that to a lot of conventional, gas-powered models, you can see that this is a vehicle you’ll enjoy driving each day.

If you want to take performance to the next level, however, then you should check out the dual-motor option that’s available for the Equinox EV. With a pair of motors, you get to enjoy 300 hp and 355 lb-ft of torque and electric all-wheel drive (eAWD) capabilities that make this model incredibly fun to drive. That’s bold power for a vehicle like this, plus eAWD gives you enhanced traction and control in all kinds of weather and road conditions. You lose a little bit of range (we’ll look at that in a moment) by choosing a dual-motor version, but it’s our pick when it comes to an SUV that’s truly wonderful to drive.

Excellent Range and Easy Charging

We just mentioned range a moment ago, which is a big deal when looking at EVs since older models had pretty limited range that could make it difficult to get the most from them. The current generation of EVs on the market these days, however, tends to deliver both impressive performance and great distances for range to ensure you get a vehicle that works for you every day. The 2025 Chevy Equinox EV illustrates this wonderfully since it provides you with an overall experience that’s both rewarding and practical. You can go a long time between stops to recharge, plus charging is easy in a wide range of situations.

The standard, single-motor version of the 2025 Equinox EV gets an estimated 319 miles of range from a full charge. If you go with a dual-motor option, then you lose a little bit of distance (as we said) and get an estimated 285 miles of range from a full charge instead. No matter which setup you choose, you get excellent performance and range, plus keeping your Equinox EV charged is incredibly easy. You can have a Level 2 charger installed at your home for ultimate convenience; plus, you have access to a massive network of more than 200,000 public chargers across North America. The Equinox EV can now be used at more than 17,000 Tesla Superchargers, too, giving you even more options to make keeping your vehicle charged quick, simple, and convenient.

Innovative Technology Inside and Out

There are a lot of things we love about the 2025 Equinox EV, but if we had to pick just one thing, it would probably be the remarkable tech features that Chevy has packed into this thing. For starters, inside every model, you’ll find a gorgeous 17.7-inch Infotainment display that looks stunning and comes with Google built-in for excellent functionality. This is paired with an 11-inch color Driver Information Center screen that includes different themes and options you can choose from to make it easy to keep track of the information you need. You also get numerous USB and power outlets, automatic climate control, and adaptive cruise control.

If you go with the RS trim level, then you get a number of impressive upgrades, including black emblems, black mirrors, and 21-inch black wheels. The RS includes a heated steering wheel, Google built-in compatibility, and a wireless charging pad for compatible devices. Along with selectable multi-color ambient interior lighting, the RS also features LED exterior lighting with available automated walk-up lighting, plus an AutoSense power liftgate that can open automatically when you approach with your key fob. Add more available options like heated rear seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, and a head-up display, and you have something truly special.

A Beautifully-Designed, Spacious Interior

Interior tech features are only part of the equation when it comes to what makes the cabin of the Equinox EV so rewarding. The standard cloth seating is great, though we’re partial to the Evotex seating you’ll find in the available RS model. There’s something beautifully understated about the standard Black with Red Accents interior of the RS, though the available Adrenaline Red interior punctuates things gorgeously. Available ventilated front seats are ideal for warmer weather, plus its two-row design allows up to five passengers to be quite comfortable inside this SUV. Capping things off, you get more than 26 cu.ft. of rear cargo space inside this vehicle, along with just over 57 cu.ft. of total cargo volume behind the front seats, so you can load up with everything you need to take with you before hitting the road.

Excellent Safety Features and Tech

Nothing is more important than how well your vehicle can help keep you and your loved ones safe, which Chevy understands better than just about anyone else. The 2025 Equinox EV comes standard with Chevy Safety Assist, which includes a Forward Collision Alert, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Front Pedestrian Braking. You also get Lane Keep Assist with a Lane Departure Warning, a Following Distance Indicator, and IntelliBeam automatic high beams included with every model. Taking things even further, Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, Rear Park Assist, and Reverse Automatic Braking are also available.

Remarkably, we’re not even done with the standard features that you get on every Equinox EV model, which includes Rear Cross Traffic Braking, HD Surround Vision, and Front Pedestrian and Bicyclist Braking to help keep others safe, too. Not surprisingly, the Equinox EV also has GM’s Super Cruise hands-free driving system available to take your time on the road to another level. With this system, you can safely take your hands off the wheel once engaged in appropriate areas, letting you relax and focus on the road while the Equinox EV handles the more tedious driving maneuvers, including automatic lane changing, changing lanes on demand, and adjusting to surrounding traffic. This is the perfect way to enhance long road trips and your daily commute.

This is a powerful SUV that’s incredibly fun to drive, with plenty of range to get you where you need to go in style. And with its remarkable selection of standard and available tech features, the Equinox EV is a vehicle that’s built to be driven and enjoyed for a long time.
